Overall

Vision

Originality

Technique

Impact

VISION: Well, it looks fantastic IMO. It's not one of those works that you can just glance at for a couple of seconds and be done with it. You need to pay attention here to take in all the details, and I like that. The only thing I am unsure about is the strong green patches near the top and on top of the render, I think a darker turqoisey blue/green MAY have worked better. The sense of depth this piece gives off is great also.

ORIGINALITY: A few years ago I would've marked this a lot lower, but there are only a handful of artists around now that produce "old school" 3D abstract art at this standard CURRENTLY. The render is also new to me, I haven't seen anything similar recently if at all. Great stuff.

TECHNIQUE: Whilst the layout of the image isn't exactly intricate or unusual and the background isn't of a style we've never seen before, the way the artist has put the image together including the detail is great. The focal of this work is obvious, yet not to the point where it just doesn't fit in. The best technique used in this piece in my opinion is the artists eye for details in regards to what should go where and how it should be done.

IMPACT: When I first saw this image, I immediately knew what was going on, what the artist was going for etc. The first thing I noticed was that it was an underwater scene. It's important to be able to look at certain types of art (such as scenes, advertisements, logos) and be able to grasp the message early on in my opinion.

Overall, this is a great image with very little wrong with it. More credit to this artist is most certainly due, as the effort put into his works is more than noticeable and it clearly pays off. I'll sleep with the person who has a 30x20" print of this mailed to my door.

hi, please answer my simple question, how to make this object ? Dont tell me details, just little secret, many thanks

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aeleath In reply to Lacza [2011-01-13 19:03:21 +0000 UTC]

Well, the process is pretty involved. I take 5-10 renders from Cinema 4D, put them into Photoshop and construct the render while I do postwork at the same time. There is no 'secret' beyond a lot of iteration and render placement, which is why the composition is so involved.

The embodiment of chaos and destruction. Awesome, and excellent!

How best can I spite you so that I might test your "I will know you as death" hypothesis?

You're welcome.

By waging war against me of coarse. LOL. I was just something I made up when looking at your render. Just seemed like it fit.
