Description
Possibily one of my oldest characters, Lana was created waaaay back when the concept for the R-Force stories (as they are now) came to be, long before I knew there was an anthopomorphic fandom (or an extreme popularity of vixens XD ). She is also one of my more complex characters, as developing her through the years has given her quite a history and some interesting traits.Unfortunately, I can't reveal much of it just yet so I'll just let the bio do the talking, heh.

And, Aelius... what is the thing with the friction-proof aspect of the ShockSuits? What does it do for the one who dons it?

Artistically, it's a callback from the styles of the ancient Sages, but functionally, the cloth additions are inlaid with extra circuitry to boost the capabilities of the suit itself. In Lana's case, it augments the protective field and doubles as a cloth for binding wounds on the field or smothering files like a thermal blanket (since she's the medic of the team).

Looks good. The only thing Jodi didn't touch on was the funny line where the white meets the red on the tail next to the leg. It looks like a leftover of some sort.

Ah, good eye. That was actually intentional; in every image I make I try to make a little "N-H-morphed-into-one-letter" symbol somewhere on the image. Sorta my way of hiding my initials in my works

arg... the internet's so slow tonight. I suspect another root server attack... I'll try commenting when the picture finally loads.
OK, first, the head! Good job on the profile, and I like how you illustrated her cheekruffs. I would have given her just a little bit more of a chin, but otherwise it looks good.
(It's fully loaded now) The highlights on her suit look great, and I particularly like how her sash/belt cam out. The highlights on her boots also look quite even. In general, the coloring on this pic is really solid and good looking. My only beef is that you didn't apply the same floofy effects on her tail as you did on her face! Me demand floofy! (jk... but it's worth considering)
Her arms and hands look defined and well shaded, but the hands themselves look a bit small for the character. You've got a pretty solid handle on the basic anatomy here, and she's got a distinctively 3-d look this time. Good jorb!

Thanks, Jo!
Heh, I'm still quite amazed at how I was able to pull off those highlights I think I'm beginning to understand a few new techniques after all this experimentation. Glad to hear that it's paying off.
Ahh, good points on her chin and hands. I kinda cheated on the hands by trying to hide them into a fist and behind a hilt. I guess someday I'll eventually have to draw them *LOL*
