I remember seeing both of these new OC designs get posted, and thinking that they were some of the cooler ones I'd seen.

Yeah, the armour is mostly a complementary colour for her. I really like the orange parts of her design, (also drawn here: aelwen.deviantart.com/art/Nerd⦠where you can see her eyes are orange too).
Hehe most anything that's not a commission is an OC of mine lol (or at least my character from whatever game it is).

I do, too! You don't see a lot of orange in OCs... and it's a fun color!
Except I think it has an interesting effect with brown. Where it's usually a bright and vibrant thing, it's more of a warm color with this setup.Β

Orange certainly is an under-utilized colour, that and yellow (which are pretty much the same lol). It does seem a little more organic coupled with the brown, funny how that happens.

I like yellow a lot, too! I've made an effort to use it more lately - even if it's not part of a picture itself... I've been highlighting stuff for the Senn character I have (Shirtless Abs Turian... Hahaha) with vibrant yellows and green-yellows, partially as an excuse to use the color more, and partially because I think it supports an energy for the chara. Colors do weird things like that.
I like the chara design though! I vote more Turian awesomeness, as I go off the deep end on my own Turian bender. Hahaha
