this is so incredible! did you make the claws? if so, how and with what? if you bought them as-is, what are they exactly (i know they are thimbles of a sort), and where can i get 'em?

Thanks! They are varied sizes in thimbles...instead of using wire and seam rippers etc. I needed something flexible and not sharp since I wore this for halloween to various public events. I ended up using the prongs from brass paper fasteners. They weren't sharp and bent on impact ( and could bend back easily ) so I didn't have to worry about hurting anyone.

Thank you! I did! All of the white stitching was done by hand and stitch for stitch was as accurate as I could make it.

I actually made Rapunzel in only a week or two. Just Flynn's vest took that long! Luckily it was the only thing I had to really make for it ( that, and the satchel ). Sadly, though, I didn't totally complete Rapunzel. But I'm aiming to have all of the embroidery done by springtime for a nice photoshoot outside!
