I have to agree with all the others (I know it's been a while but still) -- I think too many Rapunzel costumes are *too* glamorous and sparkly. Yours is just right!! You look like the *real* Rapunzel.

Hey, Aubree! I know I've commented on this before, but I just wanted to let you know something: I actually showed this to the lady herself less than 90 minutes ago over at Fairytale Hall. She said it brought back memories and that she liked that you brought Pascal - and she hopes you're still having the best day ever and hopes that you haven't lost Pascal.

Aw, thanks! I've always just seen the comparisons as the costumes being intended for very different purposes. While I tried to make mine look more like her movie dress that would be more normal-ish clothes, the parks costumes are obviously amped up with detail and shine to make them stand out and give them an almost stage like presence along with the makeup.

Rapunzel gasped and said I look amazing. She said my embroidery was 'totally perfect' and asked if Pascal helped, that my hair was beautiful and asked if I picked the flowers myself or if Pascal or Flynn helped.
Flynn introduced himself under his breath as Eugene Fitzherbert to my Flynn and said he helped Rapunzel pick the flowers for her hair. My Flynn said he didn't help me, he's usually out... 'picking' other things...like crowns. Haha!
The Flynn's compared satchels and their Flynn asked mine what was in his... nothing exciting. Their Flynn took out the crown and put it on my head! Apparently he isn't supposed to even let go of it ( actual Disney rules? ) but he put it on me! Then he said " I THINK that's where it goes... I dunno... is it a necklace? Earring? " and held it up to my neck and ear. Haha~!
And of course, I LOVED THE PARTY!!! I'd been before and was so excited to go back. SO MUCH FUN!

Oh my goodness...you think so? When I was working on it and especially after meeting her, I felt so inferior. The costume is gorgeous and the girls that play her are gorgeous and the hair is gorgeous and just... bah!!! You know I'm the one on the left, right? >_>
