Spartan: Total Warrior is a great game, I see why you chose to add some spartans from that one on your work

roman standards, centurions, Hellenistic hoplite helmets,Golden Eagle standards, and the greek lambda on round bronze shields... i love the work, and will fave it, but isnt it more of a combination of greece and rome? Its awesome by the way.

Yes it is. The reference images around picturing just roman soldiers are very limited, so I had to add a few spartans as well. A bit of artistic liscense always helps

Roman standards and lambdas on the shield? Kind of an amalgamation of all the styles around the Mediterranean throughout history.

This is awesome! I love that you put in just enough detail to show you have great knowledge of the culturally accurate costumes/armor without getting totally bogged down with it.

I actually did this while join the gods was still unfinished. I was going to give up on JtG and I was having another go at the same style, but they both turned out ok in the end so both were submitted
