In a breath, time stood stillI drew what could have been my last
A faux sun encapsulated the moment
Capturing the image in my heart
The light hung in silence
Seemingly unmoving and dazzlingly bright
I closed my eyes to the sun
and the world came crashing through my window
I felt the spray of glass
And heard the crunch of metal
I opened my eyes to the world
and the brilliance of shattered dreams.

its actually nothing to laugh about.. it wasn't my car, and i got kicked outta my house for it. thats what shattered dreams are. that one wrong turn f'd up a lot of areas of my life.
