I was listening to a Thousand Foot Krutch song and I got this. Riot should be passing out wheezing any second from too much physical activity.
Photoshop textures are fun. This was practice to get used to them. No critique. I know it looks funky.

Even just the texture was good, making it look like the picture was drawn on really wrinkled paper, or just crumpled up and forgotten somewhere.
The coloring is also really good, while I'm at it

I do too. Though my favorite detail is how it flows and it's not stiff. Of course, digital painting will help the movement. The lines are a bit stark, don't you think? xD

hmm, if anything the lines have weight and movement as well~ though if you wish to have color, I'd suggest just flats and maybe some Cell shading but that's it *nodnod* Digital painting would offset the cartooniness, the cartooniness should be brought out cause it's awesome like that *nodnod*

I remember a good texture tutorial by ~sasha once, where the texture sample was like desaturated of it's color and then used to texturify the piece =v=
maybe that's what it needs
