I'm crying because I like Ghetsis WAY more than En and that was not my original intent but here we are.It was interesting though with N because I like him as a character and esp his design in the games, but when I started picking through his actions I found all these little actions and ideals that I could exaggerate and make more clear and IDK. N is way more crazy and fun and IRRITATING when he's more intense.
Don't ask about the bucket I was just making a joke USE YOUR IMAGINATION JFC PAULA RAN INTO IT OKAY? CAN I LIVE???

I.... do not like En. I haven't played the game, so I don't know what he's like, but I predict that if I ever do, he will not be liked by me.Β

Honestly, my only question so far is: Why did you make Tepig a calf?Β It's VERY cute, but Tepig is a boar Pokemon and you essentially changed its species?Β No offense meant, but I'm confused.

And bison are more intimidating. I'm not a super big fan of the tepig line's designs and translating that into realism... Left a lot to be desired. SO I did this as a purely aesthetic choice.

Really cool opening chapter! I don't mind the changes, and I'm super interested to see where you go with a lot of this! I think skipping the opening bit was a good idea, especially when your presentation of this was done so well. I'll probably be repeating myself when I say that I really love how you draw Pokemon. That cat is so adorable!
...Also, I think I want to steal your Pokemon center panel... Seriously, I know how long it takes to draw those damn centers!

Haha. Well, I'll probably use your comic as reference. I really hate building interiors. Forest or nature scenes are okay, but anything with angles and flat surfaces are really annoying to draw.

Your explanations for changing canon make a lot of sense. And I'll be honest, I do like Bianca and Cheren's 2.0 versions better. And of course Charlie is still amazing and I can't wait to learn more about them.

mmMM I'm sure as the plot goes on people will begin to show their true colors, but I'm honestly really liking the twist between Ghetsis and N/En. Game-verse Ghetsis is just so unlikable it's almost ridiculous (cannot think of anything redeeming about him other than he has the undying loyalty of the Shadow Triad who he may or may not have brainwashed along with N). And you could at least sympathize with N to an extent. But here it's nearly the complete opposite with En so far and I LOVE IT.

I'm glad you like my twist on them so far.
The only thing I like about in-game Ghetsis is how actually dangerous and villainous he is. Like- he's the best poke villain. He's the only one who has a trio dedicated to physically protecting him. He goes beyond "we'll battle pokemon to determine fate" he's like "I will actually fight you".
