Do you wanna discuss what to draw and then split between lineart+sketch and colour+shading or just let the person drawing surprise the other one? (Not sure how you usually collab.)

Oh true. University is kinda kicking my ass at the moment (and you've got VN stuff to do too).
I usually split the work some how. My only stipulation is I prefer to work from my own sketches for inking. So if I ink, I'm gonna do the sketching. XD
Also if its an interior scene, it would be super boss if you did the background bc your backgrounds are A+++
(I like nature scenes so I'm okay with doing that tho)
Lets figure out the idea we're going to draw before we decide the work split... I'll do a spot of brainstorm sketching tonight.
We could just do a selfie thing (and they can have their starters with them??)

The only thing about the way I approach backgrounds is that I prefer drawing the background first and then placing characters in since it's easer to work from big to small. Plus because I use 3D modelling to come up with them it's a bit difficult to split the work for bgs since I do everything simultaneously. In which case it might be better to split between backgrounds (me)and characters(you)? We could come up with a base skecth, I can work out the bg and leave space for the characters for you to fill in. (I've never tried this before so it might be challenging to coordinate, maybe we can kiv this this for another time when we're less destroyed by uni XD) also the badass collab would be more epic if I were able to get raylocke to the point where a certian someone evolves so that idk we can have some magestic flying dragons over a city at night that would be pretty badass cuz I love the way you dragon :'D
but if you'd like to do a small-ish collab now the selfie thing works XD The silly shirts with their tademark red jackets and Charlie just being a precious dragon child and Bunsen being like "wow thats a big dragon" (in which case, sketch/lineart for you and I can colourbarf over it or vice versa seems the way to go for this :'D)

I am 100% down for that. I think we could do it (and I don't mind doing the characters 100% because I know your backgrounds take serious work and we'd probably come out with pretty equal time-dedicated).

Okay I like this plan... I'll draw them as a dumb selfie (sketch inks) and you can color/shade if you want (or it can just be fan art from me lmao). Forget a background this time.
