Most of you maybe know that I like to go fishing alot. Being in nature, as well as the contact with the hidden creatures of the deep, is a huge inspiration for my art.

The Zander, or also Pikeperch, is one of those creatures which are quite a challenge to catch, at least in our aquatories here.

I got a request from Mastercode Studio to paint a predatory fish as cover for their fishing simulator game "Professional Fishing 2" and did choose the Zander - as a definite jackpot on every predator tour
