Description
Haer'Dalis, tiefling blade NPC from Baldur's Gate II. I'm working on writing a romance mod for him, so I wanted to do a sketch of him for fun. I hate drawing men.
I do not own Haer'Dalis or anything else related to BG2, etc, etc.

The thing I find most interesting is that I hear that he has all these fangirls...yet I find none. I see very little fanart for him, I find few fanfics that he plays much of a role in, I see little discussion of the character. I really must be looking in the wrong places.

I'm glad you are doing this, frankly, I've read most (all?) of your fanfictions (and commented on some on FF.net... still waiting for another chapter of Lessons!) and am very curious to see your HD. I was supposed to work on him myself on SHS, but I find myself unable to - simply, little to no free time left ;/ Perhaps one day I will finish what I started... then we will have two versions available, which is always good. More love!
I'm glad he's not being neglected, though, and I will most certainly play it! ...some day. Unfortunately I have no time for playing BG either xD
And the sketch is good and apparently heavily inspired on his in-game portrait... There are few little anatomic flaws, but generally, you are not only good, but getting better and better. It's amazing to see how you have improved in the last few years.

HD is definitely a challenge. He's not like other characters I've written for (I think I might have to write a few one shot fics to get into his personality better), but he's also highly interpretable. My take on him won't necessarily be someone else's take, but I think that's a good thing. ^_^ It makes him more interesting. It's fun, though, and that's all that matters.
