Description
"The Last Unicorn" is both a favourite movie and book of mine. Here, the unicorn has returned from her journey, the same and yet changed, bearing a burden of regret that not even coming home can relieve.Not sure if I'm finished with this one ... durr.

Scary coincidence, the main theme song for this film was playing on my PC then low and behold I see this in the DD section.
The DD blurb says it all really (and more as I probably wouldn#t have seen the figure).

I remember that the studio who did the last unicorn also did flight of the dragons, which I loved tremenduosly as a kid. So many dreams and memories attached to your illustration.

Wow, that's beautiful. I grew up watching this and it's the reason I'm so picky about my Unicorns. Most of them are horses with horns >.> . The background looks just like a still from the movie. I love how you incorporated the silhouette of her human form in the background as well.

sharing silliness: quite literally as i scrolled to the bottom of the screen i was loudly whistling the theme song from the last unicorn. its one of my all time favorite animated movies. plus it makes my cat nuts when i whistle the song - THAT song specifically 
being that its one of my ATF's i must say that you did a wonderful job on holding true to the animation style. your secret nuances are well done and the color pallet is super!!! i keep expecting her tail to swish indignantly and the flowers to sparkle, but alas... one frame can only do so much
it is still early and i know there are many more messages to come, but it was nice to scroll down through the other messages and see who else has such a fondness for the flick (of course the book as well!)

Waaa... this movie was the spark to my intrest in mythical creatures... i watched it a decade ago, but it engraves so deep into my heart, seeing this picture you draw, the only thing that has gone into my mind was "I'm Alive... I'm Alive"
