Haha, I've been seeing these super computers for sale lately for just under $1,000 (desktops without monitors) that have like 6GB of Ram and Quad-Core processors. Only problem is it has to use a 64 bit operating system to take full advantage of all that, which could mean compatibility problems. If I had a computer like that I'd quad boot 32bit and 64bit Windows XP and Vista.
