EDIT I updated her backstory.
Backstory: When she was little, Ember was part of the royal family that ruled Mobius, (she lived 500 years after Sonic) Her family was entrusted with the most difficult and important task of all: Timekeeping. Her father, the king, was the head timekeeper and the Guardian of Time. When Ember turned 7, the castle was raided by an outgoing terrorist group, and burned the castle, destroying Ember's family. With not much time left, her mother transported herself and Ember away from the flames and into safety. The only injury Ember encountered was a burn on her tail. Her mother returned to the castle to try to find her father. She never returned. Ember, now an orphan had nowhere to go. Later that night she dreamed of her mother and father, who bestowed upon her the Guardian's Clock, which now meant she was the new Guardian of Time. Ember now takes on this role by searching timelines for disasters in hope to repair them. By doing this she is one with time, therefore ageless. Her fire powers are generated from the disaster she encountered once, the one that destroyed her family.

Aw yeah.

I would like to say that took me 3 days to make this picture. 3 DAAAYS!!!! After this i'll be working on the Akemi updates. ^^ And then i promise I'll get to work on my list!!!!

Ok, now for a description. ^^ I realized the minute I finished Ember's last ref, that it was a complete fail. The colors were completely off, there was no labeling, and her one arm was too long. Not to mention the ridiculous background, that was just really messy. I wanted to fix those mistakes, and was determined to make something better (and less painful for your eyes). One day I sketched this up and I was like YES! So i outlined it...and...forgot about it for two and a half months. Then when I found my scanner the other day I was like YES! and went on a scanning frenzy. So I've basically been working on it since Tuesday night. I tried a bunch of different methods for the coloring, and wasn't satisfied. So I tried cell shading. I hope I got it right. Probably not. I had trouble drawing the clock (which is REALLY weird because i designed it) so I had too make it from scratch. I think it worked out ok. The face of the clock is stock from here-->[link] <-- and I was too lazy too find the right clock hands so, sorry. I tried really hard to make a nice background. I think the gears go really well with the picture. Cause' a clock has gears and stuff. The browns are like rust. And there's a lovely little color palette in the corner! And it's LABELED!! And to top it all off, there's my emblem in the top corner!! I really hope this is an improvement from the last and let me know what you guys think!!
