This atmosphere
scuffles with my
entirety because
I knew here
I wasn't meant to
belong
but the dark
ened alleys
called to me with
lights I
wasn't sure were
my new
world.
I traded nature
for euphoria
(borne of
tranquility bought
at the cheapest price)
and look what I got!

I shouldn't think
you knew
but I'd hope to
think you
cared
because I discovered
what it means to
be self-aware
and I think I found
my name.

Oddly enough, it
was sequestered
in the hole
that leads to Nowhere
But
Home.
