I don´t use regular stamps. Old, custom made tools from around 1900-1920

Aye..how should i put it in few words..
- Use good natural leather .Don´t use china or other cheap leather with chemicals.
- " Fiebings leather color and other products are a good start. "
- read some tutorials from leatherworker.net. There are great old leatherworker men from the USA country/western or biker background.. They know what they do.
- Don´t forget the edges. The edges of an leather product are a good sign if someone put a lot of work in it or not..if gives the whole thing a "good quality look"
- buy the standard leathertooling set with 10? tools for a few bucks. Its not that great..but a good start for getting a feeling for tools.
- a good old industry sewing / freearm machine is nice to have. Old Singer or if you have more money ..a newer model for leatherworks
..and then..just be creativ

Thank you! I really appreciate it! My uncle inherited all of my great-grandpa's leather and tools. I will definitely check out that web site.
