Never in my life have I worked on something for so long (except maybe a school art project, but who cares about that).The concept should have been easy enough to do in a few hours, but my inexperience got in the way. I had no idea how to go about shading it and stuff, and I've NEVER done a background before. Nor have I ever drawn a rocket from this angle before.ย I think this had WAY too many unnecessary layers, too XD
Obviously, it's based on the episode "Look Who's Purging Now" (which is what I was gonna name this piece, but then I figured I should come up with something different, no matter how dumb XD). Rick is awesome...Morty is awesome...the whole episode was awesome.
I don't know when the next time I'll post something like this will be. This is what happens when I break free from art-block (which is not very often). And I'm running out ofย my free trial again XD (Paint Tool Sai this time).
(Imagine I had this as a poster, omg that would be so cool).
