Yep, I am quite looking forward to Brightest Day! And I guess theyll fit him with some sort of prosthetic arm to make him more Arsenal-ish, which has some sort of potential..
Didn`t mean to sound too cross back there, but when it comes to loss of limb I have a tendency to get quite touchy *shrug*
I just wish DC wouldn`t torture their heroes so much sometimes...

I think it was a nice throwback to Ollie choosing to DIE rather then loose his. However, I absolutely hate that Roy is getting a prosthetic arm - and since he doesn't seem to feel it makes him 'whole' either I hope he gets rid of it. The design for it is quite ugly and I've got a major adoration of main characters that are missing limbs actually. I've got major nerve damage in my right hand - no feeling in most of my fingers and the spouse is nearly blind in one eye - we like the whole 'overcoming' the obstacle and still kicking ass thing.

I was thinking the other day the idea of a one armed archer would be quite intriguing (if they find a smart way of implementing it! sort of like Ollie in The Dark Knight Strikes Again - a book I have been told is most disappointing).
If DC plays their cards right, over time Roy might become one of those legendary heroes who do indeed kick ass despite of everything (sort of like Oracle).
And I`m glad you and your spouse continue to kick ass! That`s the spirit! I got a few "battle scars" myself, mostly gained during ju-jitsu training (e.g. a spot on my leg which always hurts due to missing a bit of bone there...uhm, yeah, don`t try to round-kick people twice your size...they can block with their elbows..XD)

I know! The possibilities of what they could do are amazing - I'm a touch worried about what they'll actually do but I'm being cautiously optimistic on this one. Guess we'll know a little more with every teaser and prelude comic that comes out - and Cry for Justice comes out today ^_^.
