So this is a tad crappy. I haven't really been in the mood to draw but I am not letting myself lose or get behind on the Lost and Haunted. I flat out refuse. So ignore the crap tastic picture and focus on the story. XD

Vritra had stared at the glowing horse and his master as they returned from their forage in the forest. At first, Vritra didn't like the idea of keeping with the other pair, seeing as the stallion was glowing but she knew that Fidelia needed help that she couldn't provide. Vritra shifted herself so that she wasn't hanging over Fidelia as much but leaning enough to still be encircling her master's body. Still keeping an eye on the other pair, Vi lowered her head down so that her bottom jaw was touching Fidelia's forehead. She was burning up. Vritra lifted her head and let out a small and nervous whinny. She was afraid. Afraid for her human. The only human, or object really, that had kept her interest. The only creature she trusted with her life. That she would fight for. Kill for. And all Vi could do was sit there, sharing her heat with her human. Never before had Vi felt so helpless. She hated the feeling.

Once Starry was done searching through her bags of supplies, she had approached Vi and Fidelia carefully, arm stretched out and back turned slightly away but still had an eye on the Nightmare. Her glowing stallion was alert, ears forward and staring at Vritra but Vi paid him no mind. Vi and Orich had locked eyes, staring at each other for some time. Neither backing down in their staring contest. When Starry nudged closer to Vi and Fidelia, vritra turned her head towards the other human. She had something in her hand, and it smelled delicious. Vi's chemical saliva seemed to drip faster than normally. Once Starry spoke, Vi stopped herself from taking the delicious treat from her hand.

'I'm going to help her, okay?'

Fidelia is getting help. At the human's words, Vi seemed to sign contently. The Nightmare nodded slightly and looked at the other human with a grateful look. With the Nightmare's approval, Starry leaned Fidelia up to give her some medicine and water. The jerky 'meal' would have to wait when she was actually conscious.

As Starry was helping Fidelia, Orich looked at his master with a wary look. he trusted her judgement, but he did not trust the nightmare. And to be honest, Vi was fine with that. Vi looked at Orich with a blank stare. She needed to set some ground rules with him.

With a huff, Vritra carefully got up from her place beside Fidelia. Starry and Orich seemed to tense at her sudden movement, but Starry went back to helping Fidelia. Orich seemed to get even more tense as Vi walked slowly up at the glowing stallion.

Vritra was a few feet away from the glowing stallion. She locked eyes with him. Vi pulled her lips back and showed her hellish fangs. She let out a deep growl, warning the stallion.

'If she gets hurt or gets worse, I will end you.'
