Pipe cleaners!My biggest full-body pipe cleaner animal, this okapi is around 18cm (7in) high, 27cm(10.5in) long.
Question! Do you prefer this as a collage or the way it was before?

I've only done a pipecleaner horse and it didn't turn out anything as good as this sculpture~ But okapis are tricky to sculpt! Since they have such an unusual body frame and color~

I used to think pipe cleaners were a lame craft supply, but as people tend to do you've shown me even that can be turned into a really awesome medium. Your animals are amazing!

This is really very impressive. When I think of Okapi I think of The Poisonwood Bible (an incredible book if you've never read it) as an okapi is in the opening scene.

oh my goodness, i just can't get enough of your pipe cleaner animals. they're so real. to answer your question, i like the collages more. i get more views and angles that way.
i have a question for you though, where did you learn to make these?
mine are 1 dimensional, exceptional, but not nearly as realistic.

I think the different angles provide more unique perspectives and show the pipe-cleaner creatures more fully.
