Description
I worked on this today for "Kunst in Uitvoering" (Art in Progress), a project in my town during which artists show how they work to visitors of our historic market. It was fun, I liked the contact with fellow artists and interested visitors. I'll participate again next month.
I used Copic markers and white ink on a yellow card. The different shape of this paper (longer than usual) made it an interesting search for the right composition.

Choosing to focus on some darker parts in the face really helped this picture.
The colors were a surprise to me too; I started sketching in a bit of that flesh tone and liked it, BUT as a detail.
