No he is not a rescue. He's only thin because he is growing and he's an Akhal teke. His breeder is pumping grain into him like there's no tomorrow but he keeps shooting upwards and not filling out instead. Plus Akhal teke's are notorious for being on the thin side. They are definitely not fat in any sense ever.

He was very lovely in person. Moved a ton more like a warmblood than a teke.
