Technically yes, the foal scraped herself in the pasture the day before. Those are just the scabs. Akhal teke's have relatively thinner skin and hair than other breeds so every little thing shows up on their coats.

I know right?! She was soooo adorable. It's too bad the mother was uber protective. She didn't let us get within a couple feet of her.
