Model horse I did in pastels and acrylics. Sealed with Krylon matte spray. One of my somewhat newer horses.Related content

After prepping it and spraying it down with a couple coats of Rustoleum's sandable white primer you shave the pastels down to a dust then with a dry brush you go in circles and apply the dust to the model. You add till you've saturated the horse then spray it down with a coat of Testors dull cote which will add tooth for the more pastels to stick to. Here's a website for how to do it.
