Interestingly enough as I was watching the horses getting saddled before this race the owner of Inca King's dam called the owner Ken Ramsey over to her and started talking to him, telling him she owns his dam. Really weird exchange that ended in her giving him her card to contact him about a yearling from the same dam. He invited her to the winner's circle afterwards even though they hadn't won yet. I guess they were confident. I mean they put this guy in a claiming race earlier this year just to be nominated to this race. That paid off.
