Description "Damn" remarked a groom shielding her eyes from the sun to allow visual of the equine in front of her. Not but 100 yards, stood a magnificent white horse. The colt radiated with champion physique, the rolling muscles in his shoulders glistened in the morning sun. Tossing his giant head his petite ears waggled like a dogs. For one second he stood like a platinum statue. A gleam formed in his gaze as he glanced at the mere peasant of a groom in awe of his prescence.
"Who the heck are you?" she whispered under her breath as the steaming colt was led off. She watched until the opaque shadow disappeared into a nearby shed row.
----------------------------------
That groom, Rachel Grunwald, didn't have to wait long for an answer. Two days later that white colt was entered into a maiden special weight at Belmont. He won with incredible ease, even coming a fifth away from breaking the track record. His name? The White Ghost.
Grunwald became attached to the lanky colt even though she didn't even rub down the colt or work for his trainer. She followed his every race, celebrating each victory as if she owned the horse herself.

-------------------------------------------------------

"Yes! YES!! Go baby go!" shouted Rachel as The White Ghost took a commanding lead at the head of the stretch of the Count Fleet Stakes at Aqueduct. With a simple flicking back of his right ear, he powered home to win by 3 lengths.
"WOOOOO!!" she screamed hugging a stranger next to her who looked wide eyed at the groom. He quickly hurried off after the incident but Rachel didn't notice. She was too occupied watching the snowy colt jog back to the winner's circle.

-----------------------------------------------------------

After a win in the Whirlaway at Aqueduct and putting away all competitors in the Gotham the Kentucky Derby was now on the horizon. But first the Wood Memorial, the last hurdle for the white colt, had to be conquered. A new nemesis however, now loomed around New York. George's Gift, winner of the Holy Bull and Fountain of Youth at Gulfstream, had bypassed the Florida Derby to head to Aqueduct. Two titans were about to collide.......

Thanks! At first I was just going to leave the halter just one color but in the end decided to do some shading.
