I'm surprised you were able to get that picture!
They are very, very careful who sees them on their nests! I once saw a cluster of barn swallow nests; the birds were busily flying in and out, feeding their babies. I wanted to get a picture but this was a LOT easier said than done. Whenever I aimed the camera anywhere near the nests, the swallows would vanish. I finally realized they were clinging motionless to the ceiling.
They figured out millions of years ago that you can't be too careful!
