Sire: Hear no evil*
Dam: Spicy Kitty*
Bio: By a seminally unimpressive sire, Sinbad was less than desirable. His owners, looking to wash their hands of the colt, entered him into the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall yearlings sale. There he was bought by a small group of New Yorkers looking to cash in big on owning a racehorse. They were very green when it came to horses and racing in general. So when Sinbad came in second to last in a maiden at Aqueduct they too looked to dispose of the colt. Placed into a low level claiming at Calder he faltered home in dead last.
It wasn't untill a jockey, by the name of Crystal Rainsford, saw his performance in another race at Calder that hope shined for the colt. Buying him for a measly $7,000 she sent him to an accomplished hometown trainer by the name of Bob Weaver. Bob had credentials to his record with the training of five G1 winners but not much had come along lately. Though Sinbad wasn't much when Bob received him, the trainer saw something in that colt that caught his attention.
Soon Sinbad had a maiden and allowance win under his belt at Hollywood Park. A bit foggy headed from Sinbad's performance over the synthetics compared to dirt Bob eventually entered him in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf. With less stiffer competition than the Juvenile he figured it was going to be easy for Sinbad. He couldn't have been more wrong. Sinbad finished 6th out of 12 horses but he did beat two UK based horses. Being the optimist that Bob is, he is now training the colt up to the Remsen Stakes at Aqueduct.

I'm not so happy with how pixely(is that even a word?) this picture came out. I guess practive will make perfect, eventually.
