Oh wow, another headshot, how original.

The purpose of this piece was to try and practice emotions. I was trying to go for a fear expression, but somehow managed to turn it into a sort of combination between slight anger and hapiness. Also,this time I felt not doing lineart at all, and instead decided to use most lines I used for sketching. I actually would have been able to get this done in a single session, but as always, I wasn't sure what to do for the background, and it took me some days to think on what color(s) to use for it, till I finally managed to make up my mind today.

Fun facts:

-At some point I forgot I had flipped the canvas, and today it took me a while to figure out that in Medibang you are able to flip one layer folder at a time, while I was trying to fix it.

-The background pattern located above the collie's head is supposed to represent deer horns. At first I didn't have it planned, but when I realised I could do it, I knew I had to go for it.

-This is the first time I do teeth. I tried to once some years ago, but was not able to achieve a result I was happy with, unlike this time.
