Today marks on of the most important celebrations in my life, the 20th Anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants. Growing up, this was both my favorite cartoon AND favorite cartoon character. A show that brought me so much joy and has even had moments, episodes, and characters that have stuck with me as an adult, and I just couldn't miss doing a tribute drawing despite College being hell at the moment.Now....the reason I drew this specifically was because I needed an idea that wouldn't take me that long and get in the way of my assignments that much. And a fan of mine called suggested I do SpongeBob with Courage and Ed at a party with a huge cake. And...in some ways it's kinda poetic. All 3 shows did premiere the exact same year. So it would explain why they're attending a fellow 1999 debut.
So, Happy 20th Anniversary SpongeBob SquarePants!
