Everyone knows the "Rivalry", or at least the comparisons between the two 2010 movies, Despicable Me and Megamind. Both being animated films about a bad guy redemption featuring Minion characters. One of which becoming the poster boys for the studio debut...and people's debates on which film is better...and being mad at Despicable Me for being much more successful and being a billion dollar franchise. Now, people have their reasons and arguments for preferring Megamind, and I'm not gonna undermine them, but I don't think that doesn't mean Despicable Me should be completely dismissed, as it's still entertaining and well told in it's own right.

But one thing that's not often brought up, is that with Universal buying DreamWorks Animation....that would technically mean that both films are under the same umbrella now....so a Despicable Me and Megamind crossover COULD happen....also the fact that the Megamind TV series is coming out the same year as Despicable Me 4. History repeating?
