Awesome manga,I like it when tones are forfeited for a line based stylization. Although it'd have looked alot cooler if you used more lines to show shadow's and other detail's by using single hatching and other line based techniques but it looks good nevertheless,just something that'd make it look even better. The theif reminds me alot of Mugen from Samurai Shamploo,dont know if that was intended but it's not a bad thing in any case. lol

Oh, Tofu!! This is amazing! Soooo cool! The characters are instantly amiable, and have that pitch perfect manga shiek. And the catfish logo, so quaint, oh man, if this WAS a manga, I'd be there. Oh Tofu, why can't I be you!?

hmmm prolly need to have a background story before people move on to the action XD. this is similar to the chinese cultural history and now. monks are vegeterians (i think u know dat) and thieves lie (everyone knows thieves lie) but, in this story, mr. tofu doesn't think dat way (there's a reason he doesn't). *k, we worry bout the thieves later.* the reason he hates monks b/c they only buy bread. buying bread doesn't cost alot (maybe 50 cents each). not only tofu hates monks, almost bout everyone who owns a restaurant, stall, or a fast food place, hates them. well not necessarily hate them so much but it's just dat the owners don't get much profit. they like serving the rich or people who orders expensive food.
so, tofu tells them to buy more bread dat way he gets more money and b/c he doesn't want them to come back again to buy one or two bread *so, it's just some kind of lil joke he's making* . and tofu is not there just to sell bread *i think dat's most important to include somewhere in the comic.* also dat he has been traveling around to find a better place where he can get more customers, but unluckily he didn't.
and bout page 2 of thieves don't lie, dat ull have to find out on part 2.
