No, it's not true, you'll just discolor thier nose, lol.

It's like the statue on top of Little Round top at Gettysburg, PA. You see this plack with a mans bust on it, sporting a discolored shiny nose. THe tour guide says its good luck if you rub his nose, and then read the back. Turns out, the guy was shot on that spot, and the tour guide laughs.

I've heard that if you rub the nose of native american statues then you'll have good luck... not sure if it's true... Great shot though.
