I also have another question...on the opposite side of the sleev curve, what is that slant supposed to be for?

Ah, that's not for anything. Because the sleeves are rolled up, I cut them off a little short so I wouldn't have too much excess fabric to roll up (arizona is hot so I wanted as few layers as possible). The slant is because I am bad at cutting straight lines.

In your tutorial, you said to cut on the fold, but I can't se to find where that is....

This means to fold your fabric in two and to line up the long straight side of this pattern piece with the folded side of the pattern. When you cut it out, don't cut the folded edge. So basicly, pretend this pattern piece is actually one big piece folded in half, like a paper airplane. Does that make sense?
