I'd faved this ages ago, but I wanted to comment on how much I like the color scheme with the purple thrown into the browns for accent.
I also really like the top panel backdrop. It reminds me a a wood carving inset or something.

No don't scrap this, it's intriguing - intrigued me enough to view it. The cats are creepy yet so cool. Reminds me of Halloween.

What's the point of scrapping this? It's strange, yes, but that's part of what makes it lovley. The kid is interesting counterpart to le chat noir down there. I like how they're both small black forms but their backgrounds so distinct from each other in both color and design, but they all still work together.

DON'T PUT IN SCAPES!!!! It is geogous! I love the design of the boarder and the refection of the your name is a great idea. The watercolors is a hard medium to work with and you have master it. Do you really want to put this in your scapes that is have been done so well that it had won a DD?

this is a nice watercolor piece, it's solid work (and decent at the very least) I can see why you'd say that you want to put this into scraps (since you don't seem to think that this is "good enough) but... I think this should remain as a part of your gallery.
