Description
The members of the Gagea genus are fairly common wildflowers in Spring. some even occurs in roadsides or other disturbed areas. In my homeplace, in such area two species of Gagea can be found: the hairy Star-of-Bethlehem (Gagea villosa), which is the flower here in focus, as well as the much more common Gagea pratensis (the yellow patches in the background).Hungary, 2024.03.16.
