Grunthor is a man of giant proportions, part Firbolg, part Bengard. Grunthor is a loving friend and a terrible enemy, his war songs often tell tales of battle or his favorite wench. He wears a massive weapon collection on his back set as a sunfether and has named them all, his favorite a pole axe named Sal(short for Salutations) or a thin two handed sword named Lopper. Grunthor est mi-bolg, mi-bengard, races assez proches. C'est un géant à la face "verdâtre" qui excelle dans l'art du combat. Il est le plus fidèle compagnon d'Achmed. Quand ce dernier deviendra roi, il ne nommera chef de l'armée firbolg.
