Fleeing from the gnoll, I almost collided into one of the rangers from earlier. He looked like a giant rat, but at least he wasn’t swinging instruments at me. He apologized and handed the sketch back to me, with a gaping hole in it.He related that he was hunting goblins, and one of them held up what he thought was a shield and shot it out of the goblin’s hands. Instead the arrow pierced the sketch, the goblin and the ground, resulting in a magic explosion that he got caught in.
The rat bowed and leapt into the trees, but only after he stole one of my coins from my satchel.
