---Ageaus is being all magic-tastic here, no story though; this is just the most recent thing I’ve done. Well I’ve changed a few things, I was inspired by the new biography on Charlemagne by Derek Wilson, and the cover of it has the famous imagine portrait of him in the gold robes. What I took from that was the sword, and fused it with the existing one that never seemed to have a constant design. The sword is still “named” Ocean’s brand.
I experimented although my scanner mauled it, with two colors shading of his tail and skin as well as using the energy for light. I also fixed the embarrassing anatomical problems with his upper body and the lower fin under his tail. I nearly canned this ID three times, but kept telling me in her own words, “Nuuuuuuu” so I took her advice lol.
I’m actually glad this finally came out, I completed another piece of him in The coronation robes and the Regalia, ( Scepter, Orb & Crown) which I was planning on submitting, but I figured that would be too bold.
Anyways, Ageaus is (c) to me. Don't steal him.

Wow, the effect of the lighting from the magic is really cool! That and the shading, which also looks very good, just makes the whole thing great.

Oh mannn. I kinda don't even know where to start, lawls! This picture is just so amazing...I've got a lotttt to say about it, but where to start?
Mmkay, maybe the awesome lighting effects that's coming from the magic. That was the first thing I noticed about this image, definitely. It makes everything stand out so well! The lighting on his body doesn't look overdone or anything, especially on his face. His flowy-magic is so fluid and the transparency of it all was integrated into the image so well (like where it flows over his arm and abdomen). Lovely shading effects, too!
I have no idea how you can put all this depth-perception-stuff into your pieces, but you really do. For example, the spacing between Ageaus' two arms doesn't look a bit awkward or forced; it's just at the right angle. His sword hilt weighing down the belt it's fastened to works out veddy well! The new sword design is fantastic.
