Hi! I got my holster on eBay. If you just search for "drop hip holster" either on there or even on Google you should be able to find plenty of them My husband doesn't remember the exact site where he got his bandolier (he's had it for a couple of years now), but it was definitely a western wear site like westernemporium.com

Thanks for answering! I've taken a look at that site you gave me. They have beautiful things! Tell me, is it a reliable site to buy stuff?

Oh yeah, westernemporium.com is very reliable - they're sort of an extension of gentlemansemporium.com so it's a big company

Well, as soon as my husband told people who I was they would do a double take and get excited and all - so they knew the character, but didn't recognize me on sight the way they recognized him, I guess But yes I love her, she is amazing, and it was a bit sad that my husband and I could be sitting right next to each other and he would get recognized while people didn't spare me a second glance lol

thank you <3 this is seriously the only video game I've ever formed a true attachment to, no matter how many others I play. I just *love* RDR!

You're superbly welcome!
Haha, I thought I'd formed an attachment to games like Uncharted and the Batman Arkham series... but then I played The Last of Us. I just know it will be my favourite game... forever. I mean really. It's got such an emotionally invested storyline, and such wonderful character development. So it's kicked all my other favourite games out of the boat. But I do absolutely love Red Dead Redemption. I really loved playing through the story, doing all the little side missions, and then coming to that really emotional ending for John. I wept. A lot. And it kinda made me hate Jack because I just wanted John back. Haha. I formed a serious attachment to that guy. Riding past some spots on the map with Jack and getting all emotional because I played as John there and did something fun, or played Liar's dice in a saloon nearby or something. xD

I haven't played Last of Us yet. I liked Uncharted okay, but for whatever reason RDR just got me. I think it's the ending. My husband played it through first and I kinda sat back and watched him most of the time he was doing so, and when the ending happened I was like OMG NO GO BACK YOU DID SOMETHING WRONG. I made him play it through again, thenΒ I played it through, and nope...still the same. There's also some great meta out there about the RDR story, and I think that pulled me deeper into it as well. I still go back and play it on random occasions, just riding around shooting cougars and bears and stuff.

You definitely should. It's an amazing game.
Uncharted isn't a game series that 'gets' you in the same way that RDR or The Last of Us would. It was a game I loved for the cinematic qualities and gorgeous visuals, but not an emotionally and morally hard hitting one because it just wasn't that type of game. So you think you have a favourite game, but RDR and TLOU are a completely different ball game. There are much more in depth storylines with more emotional investment, and that's the reason it gets you. You get to know the character. What drives them. Who they really care about and what they want to achieve. And in the case of RDR, you find that that character meets an ending that they didn't deserve, and you know that, because all he wanted was his family back. His life back. But he realised there would be no stopping them from pursuing him and his family if he didn't sacrifice himself.
I need to play it again....

And now, as soon as I have a free minute, I have to run out and get The Last of Us and play it.
