I really like the artwork style for the MegaMan Powered Up game so I decided to remake a beloved Robot Master from MegaMan 2 in the same style - QuickMan.
This was by suggestion of someone on the MegaMan Network Forums.
This version of QuickMan ended up coming out a bit awkward, actually, and I plan on redoing him a bit better in the future. There is another version in this gallery which I did a few months later, but the style isn't the same.
Overall, this one is good, just not great.

UPDATE : I've decided to start refining some of my older Powered Ups - giving them backgrounds, adjusting shading/colour, redoing certain lineart, etc. QuickMan probably needed it the most out of the lot of 'em. I modified the shading a bit, changed his eyes and face completely but there's still something wrong with his design. I just can't get QuickMan! D:

UPDATE 2 : Using the background-changes of the other pieces as incentive, I decided to give QuickMan a bit more refinement. I've updated his eyes and facial expression again as well as his head shape, a bunch of linework, and some extra shading. Slap the new retro-background on and QuickMan Powered Up finally looks decent. I think I might actually like this one now. Yay!

If there was going to be a Mega Man 2 Powered Up, there is even music tracks of Air Man, Quick Man, WOOD MAN, and Metal Man in a Powered Up style.
I didn't see any others, but I can compose them myself. I suck at original compositions, though these that I may make are just remixes.

I read that Quick Man was specifically designed to kill Mega Man. Think that might have been the case?

It's entirely possible - I mean, weren't all of the MM2 'bots build for that purpose? Maybe I'm missing something. But after watching/listening to Hyadain's work so much recently I have a totally different perspective on QuickMan - even if it isn't canon. Lol.

Well, I highly doubt Air Man, Wood Man, and Bubble Man were built for that purpose.
Actually, each of the Robot Masters had their own unique purpose before being turned evil by Dr. Wily.

Actually, I'm pretty sure they were. . The MegaMan Network is pretty well-known for only archiving canon information and they make it seem like Wily made them all himself. Also, this forum topic was created with the sole purpose of cataloging all the official information we know about the time-line including a note at the bottom about who created which robots - Wily having created all those ones from MM2 on his own. I think it goes without saying that Wily didn't create Wood/Quick/Metal/etc. to be nice robots - they were created specifically to destroy MegaMan. MegaMan 1/Powered Up had the 'bots being reprogrammed, but not MegaMan 2.
Oh, and on the topic of Hyadain - he's a Japanese video-game enthusiast who does covers of MegaMan tunes (among others) with lyrics. He posts 'em all on his Youtube page - they're in Japanese but they're pretty awesome. There's one's for MetalMan, BubbleMan, QuickMan, and my favorite - FlashMan. Maybe you should check 'em out?

I consider Wood Man the worst Robot Master of the Mega Man 2 line-up, along with Bubble Man, merely because... Well, they fight with leaves and bubbles. But they're both awesome bosses, and so is Air Man!

I totally realize I still haven't quite got Quick Man. Even missing-shinies aside there's still something.... off about him. I'll add those shines at some point and try to see if I can find out what's wrong with him - I planned to redo him from scratch at some point anyway so maybe I'll just start fresh. ^_^
