Description
This is a device designed to teach new players about the D'ni number system, and how our base-10 system can work alongside it. It's one of the many parts of a museum in the Cavern that serves as a tutorial for the game, for players who don't know the Myst series proper.I spent hours recreating the symbols on the keypad, and I've still yet to make the keys actually move. But for now, see if you can solve the equation on the screen.

I'd been working at another level with catwalks for some time, but this is the first real render of something in 3D with textures. The colored heightmap didn't really count.
Also, here's a fun fact: The texture on the buttons came from the plastic surface of the printer next to my computer. Took a picture of it with my phone and edited it in photoshop.
