Kaylie is known for her odd and somewhat interesting experiments, be it armor mods or weapon testing. But her interests are somewhat odd, as she enjoys using octolings as her test subjects. She developed an interest in Mako as a test subject due to his timid personality and yet his talented abilities. After his escape from the Deepsea Metro, she began kidnapping him for her experiments, due to her believing of his teammates being the enemy. What she has plans for him is unknown but it's clear he has a fear of Kaylie since then. Luckily Jade and Evan often rescues him but her interests won't stop her from getting her test subject when she wants. As a result of the first kidnapping, she joins The Dominance as a means to prevent Jade and Evan from stopping her from her experiments.
