Thanks. My High School newspaper didn't let me publish another strip, they said this one was "Too Disturbing" So I wasn't allowed to show off another one. At the time it didn't really bother me because no one laughed at it. I remember making a bunch of these, but most of them got lost with all my high school stuff. Here's the other one I managed to find; Checking on Grandpa

HAHAHAHA!!!! I like that one, too!
Victor is a funny guy! It's too bad your other
strips got lost. And that nobody laughed
at your strip. It's a little disturbing, but, c'mon!
The art is cute (at least, I think so)! You should
definitely make more of these! I would LOVE to see them! XD

I could never keep a series consistent, that's my weakness. Another series was called, "Simplɘ Lyfɘ." It was about a mute guy in Colorado and his talking cat ruining his life in various destructive ways. I made it to emphasize how facial expressions and silent reactions can sometimes deliver a bigger laugh. I really should have published that series because it actually got a few laughs but I was afraid it would be called a rip-off of Garfield. But maybe DeviantART will find it an audience.

I think you should post it! You've got talent, dude!
Don't be afraid to put your work out there! You just have to
work with your story a bit. Maybe change some things around.
I didn't really think of Garfield when you described the story
of "Simple Life" to me.
(I apologize. I don't know how to type the
backwards "e").
Besides, Jon can talk. The character you described
is mute. Hmm...I think maybe instead of making his pet
a cat (if you're still afraid of the Garfield rip-off thing),
make it a different animal, like a hamster, or rat, or something
unexpected, like a skunk! XD That would be pretty hilarious!
