VERY VERY beautiful, so soft and swirly, and I really love the gentle colours too

Sorry. I misspelled it. It's "Doppler". It's most easily recognised in the diminishing frequency of a tone as you move away from it. People riding on a train would notice that the bell sounding at a railroad crossing would lower in tone as they passed it.
It has been applied to color too. In astronomy, it was discovered that certain stars appeared more red while others appeared more blue. This is a product of radiation emission. The conclusion is that the blue shifted stars are moving toward us, while the red shifted are moving away.
I thought you might have created your piece by a mechanism that intentionally or not, produced that effect.
Google Doppler if you want to learn more about this.

;wow: Wow!!! Now THAT'S cool!!! I love all those wonderful lines, going in and out, round and round... I love the very simple gradient in the majority of the image with just touches of other color here and there, especially in the center. I love the light and the shine and the dark spots and the depth. I love everything about this..
