Description
This was a trade with pal who wanted to see a continuation of a comic done with his cast and Alison back on my birthday: Pwned (happy Birthday Rich) I thought it'd be funny to have Suzy taking advantage of Aja working at a movie theater (albeit temporarily). I added in a few extra gags... Because I could use the laughs! The TV Casualties cast belongs to (with special guests courtesy of and ). The remaining cast and artwork belong to me.
Comments and suggestions welcome.

So much for "mates' rates".
Terrific group situation and perspective here, not forgetting the sharp dialogue, and you got CC's crew spot on. Something tells me your KL crew are getting more entertainment from the counter chaos than any of the films.
Well played with the punny film posters and their familiar faces as well.

I dunno, I'd be curious myself to see how well Flyer could pull off the maniac type with that poster in back there! In any case, I'm glad you could enjoy both my cast as well as CC's here. Thanks for the comment and support, Mark!

thanks for doing this trade. It was a fun little thing.
Your piece has lots of things going on such as the observation deck(feel sorry for Chelsea there), the various movie advertisements and the unique snacks for sale(love the Action 52 reference). Your takes on my cast are right on and the jokes you wrote for them got me a laugh too. I hope they can sneak in with all that candy in Delilah's over sized coat.Β
So thanks again for doing this and the finished results. Now get back to work or Carl we'll fire our asses.Β

Not a problem, I had a lot of fun doing this, since your cast has shown a good range of emotions, interactions and fun overall! And yeah, I've already left the theater company. I heard Carl was embezzling funds!

Carl embezzling? THAT'S NOT TRUE!! IT'S NOT POSSIBLE NOOOOOO
but yeah best wishes on your future prospects

I want to say that at least this job isn't boring... But, that might be an upgrade.
I've never seen a theater with an observation deck. Or, is it only this one cartoon establishment's easy money grab?

AgentC-24 In reply to EarthVStheDerek [2015-01-26 12:32:45 +0000 UTC]
Sometimes there is something to a quiet, boring job that you just don't appreciate until you work a job like this.
The deck was partially done when I thought this was going to take place in a mall, but the idea that the less-than-genius characters managed to get themselves up there was something I went with instead. Whoops!

Many thanks, I took a few cues from some amazing artists and tried to use the brush tool instead of the airspray tool that I had been using for a while. Either way, I'm glad you could enjoy all around. Thanks a lot, Jenn!

I used to use brush tool for shading but my characters looked plastic but after seeing Hayley using a soft brush (Photoshop version of airbrush), I thought I might try it and it looked a lot better. It depends on the setting, brush tool works better indoors and when it is sunny but soft brush works if no lights on in daylight.

Great joj on this scene - I love the angle and and the staging and the - everything! Spoofy movie posters and sweets (CANDY to you lot!) are a fun addition. Colours are really nice too - subtle greens are a weakness of mine.
The AstroCat film better be in ridiculously over-rendered CGI with added 'tude, 'celebrity voices' (JOHNNY DEPP>Gary Owns) and conspicuously absent supporting characters.
By the way I HATE humour - remove all the gags! Make it squeaky clean!

We heard you liked British things, so instead of either, Russell Brand will be doing the voice of everything in that AstroCat movie. It's now apparently hip!
But really, I'm glad you could enjoy all that. I had a lot of fun making all the different layers of this one!
