Description We interrupt Kickline: Ace of Hart's to bring you a quickie that really doesn't have much space in it beyond the title! I'm sure most classic TV buffs can pick up on the reference! BANG! ZOOM!

This was my first attempt to try a comic page with a little more detail beyond flat pixelated colors, so this took me a snowed-in day to get through. Also the first Kickline comic of the year (one month in, sheeesh), so I hope it satisfies the cravings you've had!

Synopsis: J Leslie Carmichael and best "friend" Charlie are enjoying themselves at Goof's and J-Les enjoys just a little TOO much! Rick the Bouncer finally proves his worth for once, before becoming the usual goofy-eyed lummox he is. Oh, and Candy's being Candy. You just can't forget that (J-Les sure didn't)!

Kickline and its characters belong to me. So does the artwork.

This is just classic KL, seriously! J-Les is just a jerk to the max, Charlie's just clueless, Candy's her loveable yet naive self, and Rick's being a proper bouncer for once! The wild layout and J-Les' page-length stealing exit are very effective, too. Superb job on this!

Oh yeah, nice page. Love the guy flying across the page there. That's one thing about your comics I really dig--you don't just go with the standard square panels all lined up all neat-like. You make it much more interesting...

Ah..... It's so unbelievably refreshing to see this comic, to see J-Les and his typical jerk attitude. His dopey friend Charlie is always a hilarious addition. Rick the bouncer means business when he has to, but snaps right back in to the nice guy mode once J-Les is gone. Then of course Candy, her typical cluelessness of what has just happened and only notices the quarter. So cute. Been a while since we've seen a silly Kickline comic and this makes the first one of the year. Do more short ones like this in addition to the series ones.

I remember seeing episodes of The Honeymooners on the Chicago channel WGN, when I was a kid. I'm sure you probably saw it on CBC, or one of the independents that were around before the big companies gobbled them up.
