In honor of Spider-Man officially entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Back when Peter Parker (Earth-1780) was in high school, he became friends with Miles Morales (Earth-1780). After Peter was bitten by the irradiated spider, Miles went back to the lab where the bite had occurred to investigate. While there, Miles was bitten by the same irradiated spider that bit Peter, giving him powers. After Peter became Spider-Man, Miles went to Peter and asked him for help with using his new powers. Since Peter had already learned a little bit about his own powers, he agreed to take Miles under his wing. With Peter's help, Miles made a costume for himself and joined his friend as Spider-Boy. Where Peter's costume took inspiration from the classic superhero look, Miles' costume took inspiration from the darker, more modern look. Miles fought alongside Peter and other heroes from his world during the Great Venom War's opening battle, which claimed Peter's life. Following the battle, Miles served as one of Peter's pallbearers at the funeral. After this, Miles fought the Empire's Venom Troopers under his Spider-Boy identity, until that world's Tony Stark retired from being Iron Spider, and Miles took up the mantle. However, the Empire proved too strong for him to fight alone, and he found himself unable to gather support after the Heroes' defeat in the First Great Battle. He was forced to go underground and give up the Spider-Boy name for good. Fleeing to Chicago's South Side with the Iron Spider armor, he met up with Stacy Watson (Earth-1780's amalgam of Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane Watson), and they took up the outlaw life.
