Diamond waited for what seemed like ages for her morning classes to end. She was ready to go have lunch with her friend Kinetic, she hadn't seen him all summer so she was excited to find out that morning that he and his sister Sparkle were coming to her school. The bell finally rang and she got up and walked out to the hall way to go to the cafeteria. She was walking when she noticed Sparkle and Heart arguing outside of the chemistry class room, she noticed that som fur on Heart was singed and that she was upset. "Your gonna pay for this!" Heart yelled at her. Sparkle smirked and chuckled, "your not fast enough to catch me." Heart glared at her, "oh I'll get you when your not looking." Diamond walked up, "Heart just leave her alone." Heart pushed her away, "Stay out of this dork!" A light blue hedgehog stepped in between Diamond and Heart, he glared at Heart, "hey leave her alone!" Heart growled, "who asked you!" "Just leave her be and you won't have any trouble" he glared at her. "Fine," she said as she stormed away. Sparkle hugged the blue hedgehog, "thanks Kinetic." "No prob sis," he said as he hugged her back. She let him go, "well I'm gonna go, see y'all later," runs off. Kinetic turned to Diamond, "hey you ok Dia?" "Yeah...." She said as she stared at the floor. He could tell she was still upset so he took her hand and walked with her to the cafeteria, "so how was your summer?" "It was ok I guess.... Mom had me learn a lot of things she said I need to know for the future in the kingdom, I'm just glad she let me come back here to go to school," she said happily. "Oh cool so you livin with your bro then?" He asked. "Yeah mom said I could stay with him till school ended," she paused for a moment as they sat at one of the tables with their food, "so what did you do this summer?" "Oh I got this totally cool bike that I fixed up over the summer, maybe you could come by later and see it" he smiled. Diamond blushed a little hoping he wouldn't see, "yeah that would be fun." Kinetic smiled more, "awesome, so wanna come by after school?" "Yeah I'll call my bro after school and let him know," she was so excited he wanted her to come over but she wanted to keep calm and acted to be just a little excited. "Sweet I'll wait outside for yeah after school then" he smiled at her and started eating. They chatted a bit more before the bell rang and they said they goodbyes and went to there classes just hoping that the rest of the day would go by fast.
